Show a short worked example
A five-day path and a three-day path meet at one milestone. The shorter path can take two extra days without moving that milestone. This spare working time is its total float. At five days both paths drive the milestone.
Terms for this task
Total float is the working time an activity can move before it delays the selected finish milestone in this model. Follow the connected path, not just the longest individual bar.
